Our Services
1. Waste Management
Our 3 R procedure includes:
REDUCE:
We develop ways to cut down on the amount trash produced: (e.g., water fountains instead of bottled water and shopper bags instead of plastic bags.
REUSE:
We repurpose items, such as wood, pallets, oil or lubricants, and convert compost trash into fertilizer.
RECYCLE:
From the old useless to the new useful; e.g. plastic (plastic bottle for detergent…, film, packaging, kitchenware etc. Steel into building material, furniture…
2. Dust Suppression
We differentiate with a liquid product, working the soil to suppress dust. Soil is treated twice within 30 days, with a weekly water and product mixture spray. After the second treatment, the soil becomes solid and dust-free, requiring less frequent sprinkling. Cost savings include reduced water usage and fewer sprinkling trucks needed. We’ve implemented this in Mozambique, Zambia

3. Bioremediation
Decontamination of acid or oil contaminated soil. Oil Bio-Remediator bacteria will resolve the hydrocarbon problem without any side effects. Bioremediation is an innovative and environmentally friendly approach that uses living organisms to remove or neutralize contaminants from soil, water, and other environments. This process taps into the natural abilities of microbes, plants, fungi, and other organisms to detoxify pollutants, making it a powerful tool in the fight against environmental pollution.
How Bioremediation Works
Bioremediation uses microorganisms and plants to break down hazardous substances into less toxic or non-toxic compounds.
4. Agribusiness & Bioenergy
Unlocking the Potential of Mine-Owned Agricultural Land
Transform mine-owned agricultural land into profitable agribusiness ventures with our expert strategies. We specialize in revitalizing these lands into economically viable spaces or rehabilitating them for agricultural use, ensuring significant environmental benefits for our clients. Our comprehensive services include cropping, fodder production, animal husbandry, bioenergy solutions, and game conservation. These initiatives boost the land’s economic value, create jobs, and support community development. By implementing these projects, we enhance food security and preserve the environment, turning mine-owned land into sustainable socio commercial ventures for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Our Services:
- Agribusiness & Bioenergy
- Sustainable Socio-Commercial Ventures
- Environmental Return on Investment
- Secondary Beneficiation
5. Waste Water Management
Harnessing Natural Treatment for Grey Water Purification
We harness the power of natural processes to purify grey water. Our passive water treatment systems, often integrated with civil infrastructure, use nature’s ability to improve water quality. These natural systems are cost-effective and utilize restored ecosystems to clean water. We also manage sewage treatment, design natural mine water attenuation processes, and create constructed wetlands. Our team meets the legal operational standards of the Department of Water Affairs.
Our Services:
- Natural Treatment Systems
- Constructed Wetlands and Phyto-remediation
- Qualified Operators
- Treatment, Irrigation, Dust Control
6. Mine Closure Projects
Simplifying Mine Closure
Mine closure is often seen as complex and undefined, marked by abandoned and damaged landscapes. We see it as an opportunity to creatively use the resources and infrastructure left behind by mines. Our diverse solutions aim to ensure safe landscapes, protect the environment, and create economic value from remaining resources. This includes recycling infrastructure, rehabilitating stockpiles, reusing materials, and exploring industrial or agricultural uses.
Our Expertise:
- Understanding the Complete Value Chain
- Creative End-Land Uses and Stable Minescapes
- Meeting Quantifiable Closure Objectives
- Reducing Environmental Liability
7. Tailings Environmental Solutions
Managing Tailings Facility Environmental Challenges
Tailings facilities pose significant environmental challenges, which our team expertly addresses. We understand our customers’ needs and construction methods. Our expertise includes dust control, seepage treatment, rehabilitation, biodiversity impacts, spill management, and maintaining closed facilities. We use a scientific approach for planning, designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental outcomes. Our solutions integrate seamlessly into daily operations to reduce costs and enhance long-term environmental effectiveness.
Our Expertise:
- Dust Suppression
- Rehabilitation and Erosion Control
- Invasive Plant Control Seepage Management
- Decommissioning Tailings Facilities
8. Environmental Infrastructure
Harmonizing Nature and Industry
We ensure that nature and industrial activities co-exist through our expert environmental designs and implementation. We handle projects and install infrastructure such as pipelines, liners, dust suppression systems, boreholes, spill containment walls, and erosion control measures. Our approach considers the full impact of industrial activities, aiming to protect natural assets and minimize environmental incidents, which helps with compliance and reduces costs.
Our Expertise:
- Pollution Containment (Liners)
- Erosion Control
- Responsible Pipelines
- Design and Implementation
9. Biodiversity, Carbon & Invader Plant Control
Managing Biodiversity in Mining Areas
Mining areas often have high biodiversity, which can be challenging to manage. We help protect and enhance this valuable asset throughout the mine’s life. Our approach includes thorough biodiversity assessments and using biodiversity in land rehabilitation. Our projects involve large-scale afforestation, selective revegetation, and the removal of invasive plants that threaten ecosystems. Our revegetation efforts also create carbon sinks to lower our clients’ carbon footprint and sequester carbon in the soil.
Our Expertise:
- Functional Novel Ecosystems
- Carbon Sequestration and Reduced Carbon Tax
- Invasive Plant Management
- Holistic Biodiversity Management
10. Mine Land Rehabilitation
Art and Science in Land Rehabilitation
Rehabilitating disturbed land is a blend of art and science. Developing self-sustainable ecosystems on mined land requires a specialized, multidisciplinary approach. We offer comprehensive land rehabilitation services, including closure design, reshaping, stormwater control, soil improvement, re-vegetation, afforestation, and ongoing monitoring. With over 20 years of experience and more than 250 large-scale projects, we excel in transforming mined and derelict land into productive, restored ecosystems.
Our Expertise:
- Productive Rehabilitated Land
- Restored Ecosystem Services
- Advanced Track Record
- Best Cost of Ownership
